What you could be missing... Comments from a parishioner. "I was not sure what to expect when I attended the 1st or even 2nd episode of “The Chosen”. I had not heard of the movie and I wasn't even sure that I'd like it. But after the 2nd week I was definitely hooked and look forward to each Thursday evening with Deacon Dennis and his wife, Jeri. I’ve found The Chosen to be a fascinating representation of the people I’ve read & heard about many times in the Scriptures. This movie brings life to the disciples; showing their diversity and life experiences which I can to relate to (even if it’s 2023). The Chosen has shown a human side of Jesus which I do not always think about. The heart of Jesus is portrayed exactly how I imagined him to be, however. Warm, caring, and quiet while going about the world and doing His work. The Chosen has showed me that God needs all types of people to show up and to share their gifts and talents with others. I’d recommend that everyone watch The Chosen at least once!" –Lisa
